Self Esteem – Don’t Live in a Topsy-Turvy World!

You should know that self esteem is a significant aspect of life. It is very difficult to lead a meaningless life without boosting the level of self esteem. Self esteem is all about your feelings as well as opinions on how you could evaluate yourself in the world. Having lower self esteem is similar to drinking poison. With poor self esteem you will live in a topsy- turvy world, you will feel worthless whatever you do. There are many indications of poor self esteem. However, you must have to overcome from lower self esteem anyhow to lead a happier life in this world. As you can see the methods schools tried to increase their self esteem might have damaged sense of the self worth in people suffering from the genuine low self esteem.

The low self esteem isn’t accountable for as many problems when has been thought. It is as well assumed that the self esteem might not be very high. Thus, in case, you are victim of the bully then people will rest assured that you should must feel very sorry for them. Many associated with the pieces of the reliable research show that bullies & other criminals are more likely to suffer from the unrealistically high self respect & impulse control issues than the low self esteem. Person with the poor self esteem can feel urge to put down and condescend to a person.

Lots of modern psychologists include further expansion on general self esteem concept for including the set point. What it means is during childhood, influences, experiences as well as nurture and lack thereof make the inherent level of confidence & worth within yourself. This gets the ‘set point’. When in adulthood, tries to rise above and below the set point consistently fail as Self esteem ‘set point’ is been maintained. This makes the dilemma for person who wants to improve the self concept & self-esteem since it is difficult, till one is self aware not to self sabotage repeatedly for keeping yourself at the static ‘level’.
